Meet our resident golf professional, Andrew Gilbert.  Andy began his professional career in England in 1969 and succeeded “Ryder Cup” player Christy O’Connor Junior as Carlow’s head professional in 1976.  He has worked for some leading names in golf and has studied the golf swing in depth under their tutelage.  Andy has a well-earned reputation as one of the finest golf teachers in Ireland and he includes many fellow professionals among his clients.

Andy has a keen interest in the development of Irelands’ next generation of young golfers and in spring 2006 he began a new series of Young Masters Golf Lessons (YMG) for children between eight and 16 years.

There has never been a better time to strengthen your swing, gain control of your chipping or perfect your putting.  Andy’s range of golf lessons include.
